This month has been a busy one for The Family Psychologist. In addition to our regular work delivering client assessments, support sessions & reports, we have welcomed three new clinicians to the team. TFP are growing to meet increasing demand for our services, and we are expanding the clinical space at our Kidderminster practice, to accommodate our growing team.
TFP Away Day
September also saw the TFP team come together for a day away from the practice for our annual Away Day.
We took the opportunity to spend some time reflecting on our current and future plans, as well as getting to know each other through constructive team building and fun.
Wyre Forest House was a great location for our 24- strong team to connect & share knowledge, experience, and our vision for the future.
Team members delivered expert sessions on Attachment & Developmental Trauma as well as Speech, Language & Communication.
A key part of the day saw us work in groups to articulate the ‘TFP Values’. As we grow, we are keen to capture these and through this process, we aim to maintain the great team dynamic and atmosphere that TFP has created. Our shared values guide our interactions with each other and more importantly, positively impact the experience of our clients & their families.
We rounded off the day with some fun team activities and a quiz. Always popular with our competitive colleagues – from designing a TFP mascot to catching a ball in a cup on your head – needless to say a lot of laughs were shared and a couple of pics captured these.
Many thanks to Wyre Forest House & The Black Star for hosting us for a most enjoyable and enlightening day for our team.
